OneIT HR project achieves closeout

The OneIT HR Process Project achieved closeout as the team reported out on completion of the skills inventory sub-project. Nearly 500 OneIT staff completed the skills inventory, which provided a more accurate, complete view of the skills and technical interests of IT professionals at UI.

2017 OneIT Year in Review now available

The 2017 OneIT Year in Review is published at https://oneit.uiowa.edu/year-review-2017 . The report focuses on the portfolio of projects initiated through the Transparent, Inclusive Efficiency Review (TIER)—which have saved $3.5 million to date, allowing resources to be reinvested in core-mission endeavors. It also highlights progress in operating as a unified IT organization.

Save the date! Tech Forum set for May 22

Tech Forum is free, open to all IT professionals at the university, and held at the Iowa Memorial Union. This year one goal of the event is to build relationships across Health Care Information Systems (HCIS) and OneIT and better understand each organization as integration efforts begin. OneIT strategic planning underway

More than 40 IT leaders are involved in drafting the OneIT Strategic Plan, in collaboration with campus stakeholders and the broader IT community. The plan will be completed in spring 2017.
