Successful Retreat at UNI

On Nov. 4, members of the OneIT project teams traveled to Cedar Falls for a retreat with their counterparts from Iowa State and the University of Northern Iowa. They made progress in several areas, exchanging information about technology plans and strategies and discussing opportunities for collaboration. Going forward, they decided to continue meeting as a full group on an annual basis, and to convene the topical sub-groups as needed throughout the year.

Regents Schools to Gather for IT Retreat

IT professionals from the University of Iowa, Iowa State University, and the University of Northern Iowa will gather Nov. 4 at the UNI campus to exchange information on technology initiatives and discuss opportunities for collaboration. This is the third IT retreat held among the three schools; the first two were hosted at the UI and ISU. The chief information officers from each institution continue to hold weekly conference calls, all part of the broader TIER initiative to enhance collaboration across the schools.
