In March of 2015, implementation began for Finance, Human Resources, Information Technology, and Sourcing & Procurement.
In February of 2015, the Board of Regents hired Pappas Consulting to continue the review of distance education and time to graduation.
In January 2015, the Board of Regents approved the UI's self-implementation plans for all business cases. Implementation initiatives began in February 2015, and completion dates range from 2-3 years.
In June 2014, Deloitte Consulting LLP completed Phase 1, the initial high-level assessment based on preliminary data gathering, interviews, and estimates. Of the 175 opportunities identified, 12 administrative and five academic opportunities were selected for further review, and business cases were developed in Phase 2.
In February 2014, the Board of Regents hired Deloitte to conduct a new, wide-ranging study to identify potential cost savings, increase revenue opportunities, and propose plans to change how the universities are structured and services are delivered.
